Divisions of Racing at Hi-Go Raceway '2008

**"a drivers actual age on January 1st, 2008 will establish his/her competition age for that entire calendar year. Minor drivers whose birthday qualifies them to move up to classes with the next higher age group may do so if their birthday occurs by June 30th. If during the race season a driver has a birthday after June 30th that would make him/her old enough to move up to an "older" class they have the option to do so at that time. Once move up they cannot return to the younger group"

*****Kid Karts- 5 to 7 years old

Currently this class is an internal class with rental karts only. 50cc comer motor. 

******Box Stock Rookie -8-12 years old

Briggs SEALED 5HP Motor to be run "out of the box".  Purple (.425) Restrictor Plate. Weight is 265 lbs. as raced. Limited gearing to 13 tooth driver and 55,56, or 57 tooth driven sprockets only.

*****Box Stock-8 to 12 years old

   Briggs SEALED 5HP Motor to be run "out of the Box".  Purple (.425)  Restrictor Plate.  Weight is 265 lb. as raced.

*****Box Stock "Sportsman", AKA "Controlled Stock"

    SEALED 6.5HP Animal Motor to be run "out of the Box".  Black (.575) Restrictor Plate.  320 lb. as raced. 

*****WKA Junior Sportsman 2 Heavy   8-12 years old 

    Briggs 5HP Motor to be run with WKA Jr. 2 rules as a guideline. Briggs 5HP with Blue (.500) Restrictor Plate or Briggs Animal Engine with a Blue/Torquoise restrictor plate top hole .275 and bottom hole of .325.  Weight is 290 lbs. as raced.

*****WKA Animal Junior/Flathead Stock Restricted-12 to 15

     Briggs WKA  Stock Animal motor with .505 Gold Restrictor Plate or Briggs 5HP Motor to be run with WKA Stock Motor rules as a guideline with .575 Gold Restrictor Plate. Weight is 320 lbs. as raced.

*****WKA Stock Medium-15 and up

    Briggs 5HP Motor to be run with WKA Stock Motor rules as a guideline. Weight is 350 lbs. as raced

*****WKA Animal Medium-15 and up

     Briggs WKA  Stock Animal engine.  Weight is 350 lbs. as raced.

*****WKA Animal Heavy-15 and up

     Briggs WKA  Stock Animal engine.   Weight is 375 lbs. as raced.

*****Open Class-15 and up

    Briggs 5HP Modified Motor/6.5 Animal Modified as a base motor.   All other manufacturers welcome.  Limited 255CC.  Weight is 360 lbs. as raced.

******Winged Outlaw Karts- 15 and up
